When you encounter error messages while uploading files on OmniStor for Web, it is recommended to check the following steps to troubleshoot the issue.
- Storage Space is Full: Insufficient available storage space in your account will prevent file uploads. You can: go to "Account Settings > Account Information" to check the remaining space. If you need to increase space, please contact the system administrator.
- File Size Exceeds Limit: If the uploaded file exceeds the single file size limit set by the system administrator, the upload will fail. You can go to "Account Settings > Account Information" to check the file size limit.
- File Format Not Allowed: Please check whether the file format is among the system-blocked types. If it is a restricted file format, the upload will not be allowed. (For information regarding system restrictions and blocking of file types and formats, please contact your system administrator for confirmation.)
- Insufficient Permissions: If you are uploading files to a folder shared by others and do not have "edit" permissions, you will not be able to upload. In this case, please contact the folder owner to confirm the permission settings.
- Network Connection Issues: Connection interruptions or instability during the upload process may cause the upload to fail. If this occurs, please ensure your network connection is stable and try uploading again.
- Unknown Errors: If an unidentifiable system error occurs, it may cause the upload to fail.
- In this case, you can try uploading again. If the problem persists, please contact the system administrator for assistance.
