How to View Login Records and User Activity?

OSM provides comprehensive platform activity record inquiries, including administrator operation logs, user usage records, user login records, and more. The maximum query range is up to three months of data.

Before You Start

  • Ensure you have OSM platform management permissions and have been authorized for the "Platform Records" related functions.
  • Plan the time range (up to 3 months) and criteria for your query.
  • If you need to keep long-term records, it is recommended to regularly export reports for separate archiving.
  • If you have purchased the OmniStor Protect module, you can additionally obtain reports related to sensitive personal data.

Query User Usage Records

  1. Log in to OSM. Go to [Platform Records] > [Action Logs] > [User action logs report].
  2. Set the query criteria:
    • Account: For a specific user.
    • Folder / file name filter: Supports fuzzy matching for the name field.
      • Please note: The filtering mechanism is constrained by both the "Time Range" and "Action Type." System logs are generated based on the exact time an action occurs. If a file or folder had no activity (such as uploads, modifications, downloads, etc.) within your selected time range, it will not appear in the search results.
      • Example: Suppose a file/folder named “abc” was renamed to “def” on 07/01 at 14:00:
        • If the time range is set to 07/01 ~ 07/01, searching for either “abc” or “def“ will successfully retrieve this modification log.
        • If the time range is set to 07/02 ~ 07/02, no results will be found even if the file exists, because no actions were performed on that day.
    • Group: Narrows the search scope to users under the selected permission groups.
    • Action type: The specific activity performed by the user account, such as "Upload," "Download," etc.
    • Report Format: CSV or PDF.
    • Data Calculation Period: Start and end dates (up to 3 months).
  3. Click [Export] to download the report , or [Send to] a specified email address.

  2. Query by [Operator], [Operation Function], and [Time Range].

  1. Go to [Platform Records] > [Usage Records] > [Report Generation].
