Sign in to OmniStor with Single Sign-On (SSO)

OmniStor supports Single Sign-On (SSO). After your first sign-in, the system signs you in automatically next time — you won't need to re-enter your username and password. This article covers SSO sign-in on Android, iOS, web page(OmniStor for Web) and Windows.

Before You Start

  • Your organization has enabled SSO (check with your admin)

  • You know the URL for OmniStor cloud storage service (please contact your system administrator).
  • You are ready. Enter your SSO account and password to log in.

Android: Sign In with SSO

  1. Open the OmniStor app.

  2. On the sign-in screen, tap Use Single Sign-On (SSO).

  3. Enter the OmniStor service URL.

  4. The app redirects to the SSO sign-in page — enter your SSO account and password.

  5. After signing in, you'll go straight to the main screen.

iOS: Sign In with SSO

  2. On the sign-in screen, tap Use Single Sign-On (SSO).

  3. Enter the OmniStor service URL.

  4. The app redirects to the SSO sign-in page — enter your SSO account and password.

  5. After signing in, you'll see the main screen.

  1. Launch OmniStor Drive.

  2. On the sign-in screen, enter only the service URL — leave account and password blank.

  3. Click Use Single Sign-On (SSO).

  4. A browser window opens with your organization's sign-in page.

  5. After completing SSO, OmniStor Drive signs in automatically and mounts the virtual disk.

OmniStor for Web

  1. Choose a web browser, enter the service URL in the address bar to go to the sign-in page.

  2. On the sign-in screen, click Use Single Sign-On (SSO).

  3. The system redirects to your company or organization's identity verification page.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your account and password and complete verification.

  5. After SSO verification is complete, the system directs you to the web page.

Verify It Worked

You're signed in if you reach the OmniStor main screen, or if the OmniStor virtual disk appears in File Explorer.

Common Issues

  • No "Use Single Sign-On" button? Check with your admin to confirm SSO is enabled for your organization.

  • No SSO screen appears after tapping SSO? Your browser may already have an active SSO session — the system signs you in automatically.

  • "Password incorrect" after SSO? Make sure you're using your SSO account (usually your company domain account), not a separate OmniStor account.

  • Forgot your SSO password? Use the "Forgot password" link on your company sign-in page, or contact IT.
