The OmniStor Drive icon in your Windows taskbar tells you Drive's status at a glance. This article explains what each icon means and what to do.
Three Icon States
Icon | State | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|---|
Normal | Connected | Drive is working normally | Nothing — use Drive as usual |
Grayscale | Offline from Server | Lost connection to the server | Check your network and service status |
Red exclamation | Error | A file failed to upload or download | Click the icon to open the Activity window or check the Error Log |
When You See the Red Exclamation
- Click the icon to open the Activity window.
- Check the current sync status. You may see:
- Uploading / Upload succeeded / Upload failed
- Move succeeded / Move failed
- Delete succeeded / Delete failed
- You can now view the file records that failed to synchronize. Click Settings > Error logs to see the detailed reasons.
