The OmniStor mobile app lets you quickly check your cloud space usage and change your password. This article covers the complete steps for both iOS and Android.
View account info
iOS
- Open the OmniStor app.
- Tap Settings at the lower right to enter the settings page.
- Tap the arrow next to FileCloud ID.
- You'll see further options including Used Space and Password Settings.
Android
- Open the OmniStor app.
- Tap Menu at the upper left to open the side menu.
- At the top of the menu, your logged-in [Account ID], [Total Storage Space], and [Used Space] are displayed in real time.
Change your password
Important prerequisite: This function is only available for accounts created by an administrator in OmniStor Manager (OSM).
If your account (OmniStor ID) is the same as the one you use to sign in to your company network (Windows AD/LDAP):
- iOS: The Change Password option won't appear when you enter Account Info.
- Android: Likewise, the change password option won't appear in this case.
For password changes, contact your IT support or system administrator.
iOS
- Open the OmniStor app.
- Tap Settings at the lower right.
- Tap the arrow next to FileCloud ID.
- Tap Change Password — a password change webpage opens.
- Enter your old password, new password, and verification code.
Android
- Open the OmniStor app.
- Tap Menu at the upper left to open the side menu.
- Tap Settings at the upper right to enter the Settings page.
- Tap the arrow next to the Account Info ID section.
- Tap Change Password — a password change webpage opens. Follow the instructions to enter the required fields, then tap Confirm.
Note :You can change your password to maintain account security, or reset it if you've forgotten it.
