This article walks you through installing the OmniStor app on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and completing your first sign-in.
Before You Start
Your iOS version is iOS 12 or later
You have your account, password, and service URL from your admin
Check your iOS version
Open Settings > General > About and look under Version.
Step 1: Install OmniStor
Open the App Store. Search for OmniStor, then tap Get.
Wait for the download and install to finish.
If your company uses a custom-branded app, check with your admin for the correct app name and download method.
Step 2: Launch for the First Time
Tap the OmniStor icon on your home screen. Swipe through the intro pages.
Tap Sign in at the bottom to open the sign-in screen.
Step 3: Sign In
Enter your account, password, and the OmniStor service URL. Tap Sign in.
After signing in, you'll see the main screen.
Most users sign in with their company Windows AD account. If your company doesn't use AD/LDAP, check with your admin for the correct account type.
Verify It Worked
After reaching the main screen, you should see cloud files, shared items, and basic settings.
Common Issues
- Can't find OmniStor in the App Store? Check your Apple ID country/region, or confirm with your admin if it's a custom-branded version.
- "Can't connect to server" at sign-in? Check your network and confirm the service URL is correct.
- Prompted to bind your device? This is an admin-enabled security setting. See "Bind your account to a mobile device."
